Original videos and full separated audio stay on your device. Optional iCloud sync carries lightweight practice data only.
Summary
OurDance lets you practice with videos you choose. No OurDance account is required. Original videos, locally generated thumbnails and waveforms, and full separated audio stay on your device. If you choose iCloud sync, lightweight practice data is stored in your private iCloud database so it can sync between your own devices.
Local practice data
The app stores selected-media references, display names, thumbnails, waveform summaries, markers, loops, beat and count corrections, crop and playback preferences, and optional local analysis results on your device. Removing an item or the app removes local OurDance data, not the original video in Photos or Files.
Media and optional models
Videos from Photos, Files, or the Share sheet are used locally. OurDance does not upload original video, original audio, or full separated-audio files to its servers. Optional on-device models are downloaded over HTTPS from ourdance-model-downloads.tntzy2000.workers.dev. The request contains no selected media; the host may process ordinary connection logs needed to deliver and protect the download.
Optional iCloud sync
In versions that offer Full Unlock, if you choose to enable sync, Apple CloudKit and your private iCloud database sync lightweight practice data, such as media identity/display metadata, markers, loops, preferences, beat/count corrections, small waveform or preview summaries, and bounded analysis metadata. Original video, full waveforms, full separated audio, and model packages are not synced.
Purchases, feedback, and support
Where offered, Full Unlock is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed by Apple StoreKit. Apple processes payment information; Family Sharing is not enabled. Apple may provide feedback or diagnostics that you choose to send. If you email support, we receive your email address, message, and information you voluntarily include to answer the request. Do not attach private video unless requested and you have the right to share it.
No ads or tracking
OurDance has no advertising, cross-app tracking, social feed, or third-party analytics SDK. We do not sell or rent practice data.
